2025 Wills Point ISD Growth Management Bond.
Developed with the guidance of citizens from across our community
to reflect the needs of the families & taxpayers we serve.

An important message from Superintendent Richard Cooper:
“Thanks to the students, teachers, and parents of Wills Point ISD, we are an attractive district for families looking for academic, fine arts, athletic, college preparation, and CTE excellence. As a result, we are expected to grow by more than 1,000 kids over the next decade – that’s an increase of 35%.
To proactively prepare for this growth, our School Board, with input from residents and taxpayers across our community, developed a $69 million Growth Management Bond Package to fund, with voter approval, the district's current and long-term capital needs.
These projects will include upgrades and renovations on every campus, including new classrooms to maintain small class sizes, basic maintenance, new safety and security systems, and space for expanded offerings for our college and career programs. With the approval of the bond package, our property tax rate will remain 11¢ lower than in 2018, thanks to recent tax cuts and ongoing efficiency programs in the district.
We are committed to providing you with the facts to make an informed vote on November 4. Over the coming weeks, we will provide you with additional information about the impact of the bond package on our students, teachers, and taxpayers.
Please take a few minutes to review the information in this website. I look forward to seeing you at the polls this November.”
